Datejust... Otherwise sports model wise you can try the air king, there one at hour glass one Raffles place building (Look for sharon or Desmond). They may have restock on some models. As usual first come first served basis.

yup not at all locally. in fact i think anything in a 41mm you can't get these days when you walk in but yes the blue dial is a lot harder. though the premium is not a lot more so if one wants it i think it's still worth getting.

Actually 41 is slightly too big for me. Would prefer like 36 or 39 but do they have the stick markers? Dont really like the roman numeral ones

Jubilee bracelet can be swapped out with oyster bracelet if people think oyster is better, I think there should be a way to get the oyster bracelet even if one buys the new one with jubilee?

It's always about the hype. 2 years ago in Q3 when I was looking to buy my first Rolex, I was looking at a date sub and a Batman. Batman at that time was 13K ish for a BN at gray dealer.

I managed to get a date sub at an AD so I didn't go for the Batman. Now the Batman is going at 20K or more just because it was rumoured to be discontinued and now being taken over by the new jubilee model.

there are some scratches on the watch casing and top of the lug. A independent says light polishing would make it good. Any idea how much metal would be gone for light polishing?
Would the lug become very thin after light polishing?

I would recommend not polishing it. The more you polish the more the value will drop.

Collectors will prefer an unpolished watch vs a polish or overly polish watch.

But then again, its your watch.... you choice then.

Thanks bro! i didn't want to polish but i keep looking at those scratches whenever i wear my watch. It's annoying me. And it's a dress watch, so i prefer it to be less scratchy haha.
