Want to buy a Rolex GMT II

Been looking for a Gmt Master II batman or Pepsi last 6 months.
Want to give my son as a gift for his wedding in Jul 2019. But to no avail. Every shop in Singapore and overseas unwilling to sell to me and say no stock. Wait 2 years for stock. Some even say they don't sell to tourists e.g Germany
Anyone knows where I can get the watch without being charged exhorbitant price.
Really appreciate all the advice and help from seasoned buyers.

It not just pay market price or buy another brand.

Plus I'm sure many of the forummers here are more than happy to help you. They always talk alot. I don't think they are empty vessels. Erm wait ,but some are sour grapes. So be really careful. They can't get and they turn sour and start bashing. Haha.

You see some bro got many . One whole box of luxury time pieces. Maybe they can even sell you at rrp. Is it real sincerity to contribute or is it here to showoff. Their actions will speak for itself

That's at least another 4k more from the indicative price I mention if you looking for unpolished full set 116600.

I think you should look for the 116600, pay 18-19k for the full set unpolished. It's shorter production run and has better clasp

if you can stretch to 19k then why not. If the budget is 11k, I guess you can slowly wait or go back two years time and that's the fair market value back then. It's either pull the trigger or take your chances if prices go up or slowdown.


I just paid mid 11 for a polished 16600 two weeks ago. Only modern Rolex box and original papers. The crown guard is thin compared to my other pre ceramic pieces. 11k is quite reasonable as that is the prices everywhere on the internet (with papers only)

One of the last few steel sports stunners that is valued way lower from current model retail price at 15k

P series. Buy from shop.
Have paper cert

SD43 also have wait list right now and selling above retail for grey bnib and preowned

A few shops that I previously followed have sold their 16600. The 40mm one wears like a sub but only collectors can discern the lack of cyclops, helium escape valve as the watch that can dive 4x deeper than the common submariner

As tech improves, they might fit the cyclops onto the deepsea
In that case, these discontinued SD will be the only Rolex with date without a cyclops. Very interesting selling point for collectors in future

What i heard from a watchmaker is that the entire glass have to be replaced. Might have to bring to rsc if u want to make sure the replacement glass is 100% authentic

It's gonna cost man

anybody got lobang for sky dweller black dial, white dial or blue dial? want to get one at rrp also difficult.
