Thanks bro! i didn't want to polish but i keep looking at those scratches whenever i wear my watch. It's annoying me. And it's a dress watch, so i prefer it to be less scratchy haha.
some feel that scratches on a watch only mean to that person who owned it and incurred those scratches during the whole time...if I had to buy a second hand watch for some reason and it had really lots of scratches which I can’t accept I wouldn’t want it cos those scratches mean nothing to me and makes the ownership less appealing. Unless those scratches were caused by myself then yes. Eg. 20k to buy a second hand Kermit with lots of scratches which one CANNOT polish due to the perceived value will drop and 20k to buy a new Ceramic hulk at premium no brainer of cos I will get a new ceramic hulk with 5 years warranty and no scratches caused by someone else’s ownership...imagine he dropped the Kermit into the toilet cubicle once to have a big ding and scratch and u so dearly embrace it cos it adds “character” so u can’t polish it
