Indeed. Just to share, I recently got allocated a sub after being on the wait list for 4 months lucky I guess, am in no way a VIP with AD as I buy mostly from grey.

Not KHH btw!!

subs are easier to get; ND, date, half gold (except hulk)


GMT on the other hand is a bit insane. Come to think of it, its impossible to get steel (or T/T) rolex GMT at a reasonable price

No such thing as 'waiting list' these days, everywhere you go, priority is to sell to people who've bought from the store before. More so if you're a tourist trying to put your name on an overseas AD...why would they sell to a foreigner when they can sell to a returning local?

i got my sub Date for waiting 2wks after i gotten a DJ for my missy...as she wanted a DJ.
i am not much into rolex but well...seem everyone looking for sport series, might as well try my luck on an entry sports model...
perhaps i gotten the DJ or maybe becoz i personally know the sales...
but who cares...i got what i wanted...hahaha

agreed...heard ADs do hv minor stock but sell to regular or someone bought non hot model...than they bundle out later.

guys, need help here.. buying my first rolex.. apart from a datejust inherit from my dad. So dont have any dealings with Local ADs. Shortlisted 2 models,

i would love to have a everose model and my understanding is that GMT is highly sought after? Root beer is worst or actually an acquired taste?

Is it true that GMT no discount but yacht master got chance for discount since it is not in demand?

Also heading italy/UK/Paris this coming Nov. Should i hoot there instead? Assuming I get VAT discount but tio GST? Still worth it?

Both models no discount. Root beer I believe very hard to get. Yacht master have a higher chance.
