I read aa Australian forum that mentioned Rolex model such as the sub with date 16610 and 16600 will remain in production till 2009. Does that mean that Rolex will no longer produce these models? Is it true?

yup...heard that one too... guess that's what happened to the SS GMT Master II...16710...no longer in production....so the 16610 and 16600 will be in production till 2009...

Well maybe they will be coming out with more models by then...I hope..

But there are rumors that there will be a new sub that will be released in Baselworld 2008 which is next yr.

Actually my preference is to have rolex forum only, but louis is DA man....so he will have the final say.... the thing is that if it's a general watch forum with sub-brands...he may need to find mods for the other brands.......

hey congrats on your fine purchase... hmnn where did you get it from? Local AD? er care to share how much? hmnnn no red tag?? of cos he will tell you the most important thing is the warranty cert..... but all the other accessories will make your purchase complete....so pls insist that you want the red tag and go and get it from him....

don't forget, you have spent quite an amount on the watch, it's only right to ensure you are given all the accessories..... cheers....
