Most grey (pre own) dealers should have in stock.

Anyway before anyone ask, local and overseas AD is the same price one. What is overseas AD to you is Local AD to them. Doesn't affect resale value or have any parts not made in Switzerland. All Rolex are manufactured in Switzerland. :)

around 1k +- RSC

or u can contact bro bluebird shop for a quote if u are comfortable

Thanks vax for the referral. Most grey dealers do service Rolex for about $200+-. Original Rolex parts(movement) are easily sourced, so no worries even if need overhaul.

Can't see clearly but should be 16013 or 16233. Service at my side is $150. If there are parts involved there will be additional charges of up to $100 if too many parts spoilt inside.

Please pm me for more info.

My grandpa just handed his old rolex down to me.. V. Old with alot of scratches etc. But still v accurate.

One question: as u can see there is some corrosion on the dial (bottom left). Any idea how much it will cost for me to replace the dial if maintainence polishing cannot get rid of it?

Depends on where you want to replace. If it's at RSC then will probably cost around $500-$600.

You can also opt to refinish the dial at reputable 3rd party shops, but you may not be satisfied with the end result.

Then again, if you bring it to RSC, they might force you to do servicing or even a overhaul since it's a vintage. Then the final price confirm over $1k.

But I guess if you want to keep your Rolex as original as possible, going to RSC may be the best solution though expensive.

For this kind of damage to the dial, you must either respray the dial(recon) or change the dial. Since this is a easy to find model you don't have to go back to rsc to change the dial, can just go any watch shop they should have. Price should be about $200 for original one.
