Why don't you use just remove the rubber hose connected to the TB? Cause its just unscrewing a hose clamp and slide out the rubber hose, then you have access to the TB (the 3M video has shown it as well). Just use carb cleaner or the 3M cleaner kit to spray and wipe the TB. If it looks clean to you, then you don't even have to clean it. At the same time, you can dismantle the MAF sensor and clean it as well.
