AI is like lab grown meat . Same as suggested by pappy won't last long.

so lets say 5 years from now, in 2030

do u think there will be more people using AI compared to right now, or is AI gonna be abandoned and forgotten?

I think AI will be even more popular in 2030. By then AI will be way more advanced than it is now, no reason why it will die out.

Think they just want to hype AI bull.. cause they invested a lot in it. The truth is AI is half-baked for now, for example, u want it to code? Can, provided u yourself know coding, if not they anyhow smoke or half-baked code. So, yes, u need to have some knowledge of coding + the correct prompt for it to work better. Same for other things.

AI is like an amplifier. The smart ones who know how to use AI properly become smarter as save on time sifting through data on the internet. As a result they consume more insightful knowledge online. Big data becomes their personal tool to use now.

On the flip side, lazy and ignorant people who use AI to tell them what they should do becomes more stupid as they stop using their brains to process, debate and form their own judgment. I’ve already seen some cases at work where people take answers from AI like gospel without realising that AI was built to please. When you ask stupid questions it gives you stupid answers - essentially Sai in Sai out

People keep calling AI a bubble, but that is the wrong comparison. Bubbles are built on hype without lasting impact, like the dot-com bubble, where many companies collapsed because they were not sustainable. AI is different.

It is more like agriculture, industrialization, electricity, computers, the internet, and automation. Each of those changed how societies worked, how economies grew, and how people lived. These were not bubbles but step changes.

AI belongs in that same category. Some companies might rise and fall, but the technology itself is here to stay. It is already becoming part of daily life in how we work, communicate, and run businesses. In a decade or two, AI will simply be part of the background, as ordinary and indispensable as electricity or the internet are today.

i actually think AI is here to stay.

the tech is improving fast, and alot more people are using AI compared to just 2 years ago.
Correct. Unlike NFT which was total bs, AI seems to be developing into something that will really be integrated everywhere.

Dun think so tis time. Tis is like d digital industrial revolution. Unstoppable.

Also AI helps to cut foreigners in our country as time goes by. No good for u?
I think TS was referring to how the govt recommended AI, not about oneself using AI like for eg using ChatGPT for funny images etc

AI is here to stay and cannot be avoided, but when govt recommends something, i also would stay away
