you should try OC i think, nowadays its very safe to do so and you get the extra perf for free

I WENT OUT TO GET ANOTHER DDR RAM, CHANGE TO DUAL!

FLAWLESS 200FPS CONSTANT, NO DIPS NO DROP!!!

I BELIEVED MY RIG!!!

I KNOW ITS LIKE REALLY HARD TO BELIEVE BUT I SWEAR!!!!

NOW I AM ON DUAL CHANNEL WITH 2 X 8 GB DDR3 1600MHZ RAMS.

NO DIPS OR DROP!!!

Skylake can. Not exactly stable. Best is still haswell. Btw skylake got boards that support ddr3

For skylake and kabylake, as long as u dont skip steps and u find the correct kexts for the motherboards, u shld be fine. Skylake and kabylake should already have the necessary kexts since OSX officially supports them (macbook pro 2017 runs on kabylake).

The only unstable ones are those that Apple does not release a machine for. X99, X299, Ryzen and Threadripper systems, they are the platforms that require a lot of work to get the correct kexts and correct settings to boot Mac off.
