Download afterburner, enable gpu and cpu usage monitoring per core. Watch your cpu usage, if it's very high then u need to upgrade.
You are CPU limited. Time for a new rig or upgrade your CPU to i7-4790.

Is g4560 better or i5-4460?
Because lifeshard g4560 1060gtx can hit constant 180 fps on the same settings as me.

I cant stress enough how important input lag is... its not about lower fps can die or not.
I have a 1070gtx and a 144hz monitor.
I am already setting performance over display.
Everything low... with my setup.. it can easily just rape overwatch. But i just dont understand.
If your rig have these and you ask me to play at a lower fps, will you shiok or jot?
finutuned ur windows 10?
http://www.makeuseof.com/tag/optimize-windows-10-gaming/
if windows 7, u need to google as well...
But what you say is right my cpu is bottlenecking and i believe that, i have tried multiple times, being low-ultra settings fps are around the same. Only when i render scale 75% then it will stay constant. I just dno how lifeshard g4560 can get 180 constant on low and a i5-4460 cant.... being or not i have also decided to get a new pc, and use this as 2ndary. With my old 290x
get the kopilake bro, i3 8100 n z370 board. If got budget hoot the i7 8700k. Dont get the older ones.
dont keep your haswell. Just sell n fund the upgrade.
I keeping so my gf can use it, as shes using a lappy now.
Why dont get the other ones? I was planning for 8600k
If you do not know how to oc then no point get 8600k but getting 8400 with z board also waste of money if you cannot wait till next year for h/b board. But then I know money is not issue to u...so no point getting i3 8gen also...
But oc is super easy, just get a aio or tower fan cooler for optimal performance. You stay near amk or not? Bring your monitor come my house try lol?
I know how to OC just not planning to because the last time i oc My 290x it crashes alot so no point.. stock is fine, i prefer llonger life span lol
Is the 8700k worth getting?
Cpu OC and GPU OC is different.. u could actually get the K version, use it at stock till years down the road and when u feel it is getting slower, begin to OC to squeeze every last bit of juice out of the cpu until up lorry..
Depends on ur usage, some people say Pentium is enough, some people say they bought a 2600k and still using to present day, to each their own
if u can oc until u crash means u dont know how to oc properly.
currently i7-4790 is more ex then i7 7700. u go figure. Alot of these ppl are running hackintosh and making the price high like park!![]()
If mainly for gaming and not bottlenecking my 1070? Can last till future gpus, budget isnt an option
Try getting another stick of ram. For dual channel. Should help.
