Normally pay the balance when you go for the tour briefing

Update on this. After made full payment, last friday then tell us tour cancelled due to 'bad weather' and offered replacement.
But the replacement was really lousier than the original package even after revising 4-5 times.
When we came over they even asked us to top up more money to take up the replacement tour.
So we ended up getting full refund instead.
Today we got the refund back. Now we're scrambling to go free and easy.

Made me wonder how they survive so long. My friends who originally signed up said they have big booth at NATAS too.

The only good thing is they keep their words on the refund.

maybe they are just tour packages reseller so don't have big operational costs

In a way yes. But save us from going holiday with anxiety. We actually managed to arrange our own free and easy that covers all the highlights of the tour within the same budget.
Tonight we're going.

Think if take packaged tour, best to stick with those reputable ones. My friend said only these few are reliable - ASA, SA, CTC, EU and Namho. The rest she would not use.

I wonder any tips or advises with such group travel and roughly expense per day for normal with purchasing of course..

Can share the package itineraries and price per pax? What sort of accomodation are we looking at? Never tried tour group but thinking of joining one for Norway/Finland since unfamiliar territory & first time in Europe.
