Just bought acer kg271

When i open google chrome on my ips last time, the colour is like grey/slightly blue

Now on this tn panel it looks like a weird blue/yellow and color not uniform

Is this calibration problem or all tn panel look like this?

adjust color to more 'cool' tone to see if it is to your preference? maybe this monitor out of box more 'warm'.

once you get used to IPS, TN will look like shi*. it's hardware limitation so no calibration can help.

U ask so much and open so many threads in the end all you got was... This?

A TN @ 75Hz!?

$250 for a 27" 75Hz va Acer Ed273 curved screen is more worth la.

TN usually has one angle (usually up to down) where color changes with angle

Other unevenness is more likely due to Acer than TN

IMO don't go for TN and IPS for Gaming, Movie watching and Basic Usage. Only for professional graphics works where you need color accuracy, go for IPS. Other than that go for VA. VA has better contrast ratio than both IPS and TN panel which is very important and makes a big difference in picture quality. The only advantage that IPS has over VA is the wider viewing angle (which is more useful with a TV since it is used for shared viewing among many people seating across the room and viewing from different angles). For PC usage, you will be seated directly in front of your monitor most of the time so why prioritize viewing angle at the expense of a lower contrast?

Yes it’s possible to see things differently at different places due to angle, lighting etc.

But generally speaking, if ts prioritise color over response time, then it doesn’t make sense to get tn.

Personally im fine with tn cos it was cheaper n im not tat bothered with colors. Seems like now the price gap is narrowed so i may go ips in future

He was worried at the beginning but when at shop he saw no differences so he bought it, u dun understand huh?
