I took the bus from Shinjuku..brought the ticket from the counter 1-2 days in advance..

Come back time we miss the bus and we decided to take the metro back..

I see. When you come back, was the bus queue very long? I understand it's first come first serve but based on a few trips, most of the locals choose the train instead.

I took train on both days to and fro Shinjuku. Wife has motion sickness issue so can't take long bus rides.

The walk @ Tokyo station is very very long. It will take you about 15 mins on normal walking pace. On Day 1, I carried my 5 year old daughter at Tokyo Station to Shinjuku Station because she fell asleep. Don't expect the Japanese to give seats to you. SAF prepared me well.

Job well done! You didn't bring a stroller for your daughter?

No. Been to Japan a few times and they are not very stroller friendly. I thought that I should start training her to walk on her own. She managed to hold up quite well except for that day. Average of 16,000+ steps a day with a few pit stops along the way. I guess the weather made it easier.

do you think its worth to pay for disney hotel? Miracosta ? or can try the budget celebrations hotel? or just stay near there

Sent from Samsung SM-G935F using GAGT

Disney hotel has some benefits such as entering the park 15mins before it officially opens. You can also request for the concierge to reserve restaurants with stage shows which is very difficult to book. Some hotels offer packages that includes a few fastpass tickets.

Whether if it's worth it or not, it's up to you. Have stayed at MiraCosta last April, Hilton Tokyo Bay, Keio Plaza Tokyo/ Grand Nikko Tokyo Daiba/ Hilton Tokyo Odaiba. Good neighbor hotels, official hotel and Disney hotel. Very costly at MiraCosta. The rest are more affordable.

If we book at the cheaper side hotels around the resort like Hilton or Sheraton, can we ask them to book restaurants with shows? Is this a common request?

I went on Monday and Tuesday and it was very packed in my opinion. The japanese are very crazy over amusement parks. Many of them had season tickets and so they will go multiple times through the year.

Will going to Disneyland on a non- public holiday Wed / Thurs in mid Nov be less crowded?

Any fast pass option in Disneyland?

Thanks
