Language barrier more fun, more foreign feel, else feels like msia when in TW.

If travel alone or with grp of frens is okay. If bring Ahma along.... If lost way already need to walk alot

I'll be travelling in September with my grandmother and teenage brother who loves shopping. On one hand I love eating sushi and sashimi, and I've never been to Tokyo. On the other hand, thinking of the street food in Taipei makes me sooooo hungry...

Sight-seeing wise, I'm tired of visiting temples and land formations, the main focus of the trip will be eating, relaxing and maybe a little gadget shopping.

Which place will you choose and why?

Tokyo definitely if u can afford it.

Much more interesting, however you can really save alot if you choose taiwan.

I personally think that Tokyo is much better than Taiwan having been to both. But be prepared to bring enough money to Tokyo because everything is more expensive.

Since you love Japanese food Tokyo is the obvious choice.

Taiwan has good Japanese food as well. The fish is just as fresh and there are many chefs trained in Japan.
