Hi all

Does anyone know whether TNG cards are available in Malaysia now?
Is the stock shortage only for the 'enhanced' card or all TNG cards?
Planning to go to Ipoh/Penang next week and rent a car - don't wanmt to get stuck at toll booths.

Thanks

Thought should be more readily available in other states. JB is none cause Singaporeans are also snapping up.

For your purpose, this card is sufficient and available in Singapore:

I have one that I use for the road.

Yes, thanks. But this is pretty hard to find as well.
It's not on their Shopee shop online anymore, and i checked four 7-elevens (from the list of their website) and 2 SPC petrol pumps yesterday looking for it.

Out of stock everywhere. I may have to try the Cheers shops at Woodlands next.

One of the 7-Eleven cashiers suggested just buying a Watsons member card in Malaysia. I'm just hoping those are not out of stoock as well when i get there.

Maybe it has been weeks since I got mine from either the SPC at MacPherson Road or the Cheers nearby at Upper Aljunied Esso. I don't remember exactly which.

If not in penang you also need to go to their carousell and buy, probably rm $60-rm$100.
Yeah, I was hoping not to contribute to scalpers tbh. But probably no choice

edit for future readers with the same issue: ended up searching on shopee and buying one for $30

I bought from Sinopec petrol station $15. The new gen RFID one. Together with my petrol money, total bill paid by credit card.
Carousell got a low risk of getting fake card.

Sinopec SG. I got mine at the Bukit Timah outlet a few weeks ago. SGD15, still overpriced but save time and petrol running around MY trying to look for one.
I think $15 is reasonable considering that the EZ-Link TnG was selling at $10. How did u know they were selling?

I wanted another card for my upcoming KL trip so two pax can take public transport there and some of the FB and telegram groups mentioned. The stocks at Sinopec can run out also, but seems they can restock quite fast.
I agree $15 is ok as compared to Carousell, at least some of the money goes back to our SG government ($15 includes GST and they have to pay rent and corporate tax)

I read some cards from carousell, use a while then cannot use already. Dunno if the card is faulty or scam. Better read the reviews and buy from better rated sellers.

In KL, if u stay at bukit Bintang area,go to the train station and buy. Non nfc but works well. Lots of stock, i bought 3 for my friends. I hope more stock come and scalpers all get stuck with their cards.

indeed it is very difficult to get the NFC base TnG card,

I shopped around for more than 10 shops , non carried the card.

as a result, I am getting one from Lazada. the seller is kind enough to load in some RM .

SGD 20, self collect, under urgent case, still not so bad

after touch and go ewallet setup, it is so convenient to top up and use

I don't care over Singapore ezlink function, since all car drivers will have the touch base cash card.
