Similar sentiments but not like we have a choice from SH.i actually do not like TP-Link la.
May be soon SH will launch ASUS router if all of us email them.Similar sentiments but not like we have a choice from SH.
That is if a sizeable number of users write in to SH.May be soon SH will launch ASUS router if all of us email them.

Can only hope the rest come across this and email in to SH and push for changes for the better. When many emailed them, they will have pressure and will launch it.
True, but i quoted MR has ASUS router and MR is actually SH and next month i will feedback again. I hope more people will make noise then it will launch ASUS for sure. Also must see the respond from MR user, if good respond then SH can launch la. MR can transfer some ASUS routers to SH. Just a soft launch. Can only hope the rest come across this and email in to SH and push for changes for the better.
Ultimately, it's up to SH to decide liao.
I think due to old firmware and i also noticed it too. That's the reason why we are pushing for the firmware update. I just email TP-Link support and hopefully can get it next month.Okay very strangely, I've experience two occasions where my TV and starhub box dropped WiFi despite the router being only 1 metre away.. All devices are on my TV console.. The wifi on this HB810v can be a bit unpredictable..
Yeah, but the issue began when contacting TP-Link where TP-Link seems confused at such a statement/request.
Not sure why are you so uptight, if you read how and why the issue started to begin with.
Customers ain't privy to what arrangements businesses have most of the time, even if communicated there might be changes that isn't made known.
Which seems to be the case for me at least.
Well, the ETL that Starhub provided was EOY25 so let's just wait and see for this 3 months.I emailed TP-Link support yesterday to ask them to expedite on the update of the firmware and referring to their earlier email but today i received a reply that this router is under Starhub and Starhub should update it. Not sure whether Starhub is working on it or not or are they just buying time or drag on the issue?
It will be better if more users email to Starhub and IMDA to push for the update of the firmware for this EB810v routers to avoid this router becoming botnet as there are many users using this router in Singapore?

This has been the issue all this while where Starhub and TP-Link are just playing Taichi. Starhub told me TP-link should provide support and firmware update. But we have seen so many members here being told by TP-link that Starhub should provide update.I emailed TP-Link support yesterday to ask them to expedite on the update of the firmware and referring to their earlier email but today i received a reply that this router is under Starhub and Starhub should update it. Keep pushing them to work on it and provide an answer while looping IMDA in.This has been the issue all this while where Starhub and TP-Link are just playing Taichi. I also email IMDA, but they said they can only help to report my case to Starhub and ensure they reply. I guess it will be back to square again.
Chances are first line support staff are clueless - just go off what is published on their websites. But we have seen so many members here being told by TP-link that Starhub should provide update.
Yes please do it and the rest can comment to get more attention on this to give SH pressure. Is it possible to create a Facebook post about this and tag Starhub, TP-Link, and IMDA? Then we all like this post and comment there so that it will get more attention
