I can confirm this. My bro using TPG cannot call my home fixed line.

Understand from TPG customer service that if the fixed line is ported over (eg my fixed line is from old Singtel to M1 broadband fixed line) it will not work.

yeah, because most of these Ported Fixed Line are switched to digital signals. Last time, Singtel is using Analog, even if blackout, still able to call as it uses a different electrical source. Digital lines, once ONT is down, cannot call out.

Faced the issue of not receiving email or reply when I asked why my password can't reset.

For those facing same issue, try spam logging into the account till the system lock you out for 30min. They will send an sms to your registered phone number to reset your password. Mine worked this way.

I wrote an email to them asking some questions about the $10 plan which their sales people pestered me to sign up. No it was not a personal phone call they made to me, just one of those mass email blasts which said "If you have any blah blah blah, contact support@tpg....

Till now, they have not replied to me.

I understand Spore is in ** mode, but surely these guys don't need to be at their office to reply, considering that TPG should be a leader in the latest channels of communication. I suppose the bugger who WFH has not woken up at the moment. I understand a lot of people are eating snakes at home, and post **, there may be a lot of retrenchment lor. :s13:

What is the technical explanation for this? I ported my very old M1 number to StarHub years back. Few years back I accidentally discovered that only certain overseas lines calling me will get a “your number is no longer in use” message from M1. Complained to StarHub & M1 no solution for one year plus. In the end, I lodged complaint with IMDA and it was eventually resolved. But I still do not know the reason.

Software issue at M1. Encounter with M1 before. But otherway round. Using M1 mobile line call certain land line always cannot get thru. But land line to land line or other Telco is ok. Finally has to went down to their head office to proof it to them as they say my phone is faulty. Fixed within a week.

Now a day most we can reach is company front line. The so call call center. They really work base on some limited documents. Hardly able to understand what's is the real issue. Worse, their objective is to close the problem, as many as they can! So once advice given, they consider problem ticket closed. You call again, they create a new ticket for you. That's how they justify their work!

If you don't complaint sky high. They sweep the problem under their desk. Singpost is another good example.

So if we were to terminate the trial plan. Don't need to perform any action?

Collected Sim card at SHAW center 7/2/19.

Tested 2 phones ,

Old Nexus 6P (US Model) shows no service when sim is popped in.

Google pixel 3 xl ,
works out of box on data.. Received activation on Xl plan but not on volte.
Tested outgoing call to other mobile phone (SingTel), can't get through

How I wish to use the old phone to put inside my car for Spotify music streaming.
Does TPG work on pixel 3a XL? Can it make phone calls?
