RN4X China version. No B8

You can only call if phone is volte support. That my understanding and RN4x does not have volte support

How do you know which band you are using? I thought it is internal and you won't know unless you root the device.

B40 is almost non existent. B8 is the band covering 95%.

If you are using a samsung phone. Go dialpad press *#0011#. Can see the band you are connected to.

Did you keep receiving SMS from TPG that your phone is capable of 4G mobile phone calling, then it's nothing to worry about as long as you can make calls. Mine don't even have the logo at all.

Until today, I still cannot make calls out nor send sms. I tried calling to my office and home, it does not work. There is not even a sound in the background when my iphone was dialling.

Data works perfectly fine. I wonder whether it has to do with their backend activation because some users can call landlines while some like myself cant.

Not sure which phone you use. If your phone model does not support volte or volte is not turn on. You cannot make voice call. This is currently my understanding.

Have to try voice call? The code you mention force a VoLTE option. For selection, but does not necessary means your phone will support it.

Now can call to starhub but M1 and cl still cannot

tested on very old Xperia SP. Data OK,Voice No.

Xperia SP only support LTE Band 8 for Global model. Just a heads up.

LTE Band 40 is kind of limited in coverage mainly because it's used primarily as capacity band, not coverage band.

B8 is not used in China and India.
B40 is not used in Singapore but used in China and India.
