I need to buy Seoul to Busan and Busan to Seoul KTX tickets. Seem that there is no option to purchase return tickets, just one way.

Wanted to confirm if that is correct. Also is this worthwhile to upgrade to first class ?

Not worth upgrading to First class.

Get wider seats and less people but the trip itself is only 2.5 hrs approx so not really worth it to me.

Also note that some trains take longer than others.
So make sure u get the shorter journey trains.

Sorry I wasn't clear. What about morning trains on weekdays? Considering day trip, go early inn there morning and return in evening.

Weekdays should be ok and dont have to prebook unless it is public holiday.

Daytrip to Busan not really worth it though.
3 hrs or so each way and maybe around $60 one way per person.

Hi, I am trying to book KTX tickets from Seoul to Busan. Which official website should I use? The one I tot was official brought me to rail.ninja. Wonder if that’s the official one?

I also saw Trip.com tickets are much cheaper. Are they legit?

No customs or security checks(!), just tap ticket on the main gate and go through.

Train leaves right on the dot so be sure to get there at least 60 to 30min before.
There are shops n restaurants nearby so cn browse around.

If i buy directly from KORAIL site, will there be a QR code ticket issued?

Otherwise, what evidence to show if get checked?

I think they will issue u a barcode or qr code for the ticket.

Scan the ticket at the machine to enter.

KTX no need to scan. Just keep ticket. I suggest buy in advance. I usually buy first class tickets but if don’t have then economy seats. Difference is like $30-40

Amyone knows the email contact of KORAIL?

they missed out on a ticket refund to me.

So far, I only managed to find their KR contact phone number. I assume no point calling them since I don’t speak Korean
