At least Taichung still can opt for HSR but for Hualien side confirm book online..Best is book return..

From Taipei HSR station to Hualien for my 2 days then to taipei for 2 days then to TC...

so everything is settle at taipei HSR

From Taipei HSR station to Hualien for my 2 days then to taipei for 2 days then to TC...

so everything is settle at taipei HSR

HSR does not service the eastern side of Taiwan which is hualien.. Only TRA..

HSR and TRA both service the western side which is Taichung..

So from Taipei to Hualien take TRA.. Then from hualien to Taichung, u have 2 option.. Direct journey by TRA using Tze-chiang Limited Express which would take 4hrs and 5mins(But only 2 train a day at this duration: 1st one at 1035H, next one at 1800H) for the fastest or TRA to taipei then HSR to Taichung..

Sorry for using ur thread ts.. May I know for the booking of the hualian TRA if I put the booking as 2 that means 2 person(me & my wife)? So I just have to type in my passport number will do no need my wife passport number right?

Tra is 14-16 days ahead. Hsr is 28 days. So buy early lor. Hsr got discounts from 10-35% off normal rates.

I read about it, so I stayed awake at night despite being sick & sleepy, & bought the tickets from HL to TPE at 12am 14 days before my trip.

Actually, they released the tix for sale even b4 12am wor.
