From my experience ( I only collect transformers since Superlink series ), there might be paint, color or material difference.

The plastic that Takara uses are most of the time Brighter color than Hasbro.

Takara FTW~ :s13:

I think for Arcee the difference between TT and Hasbro is very little. Bought a loose Arcee for $15 over the weekend, and compared it to my friend's TT version.

Really not much difference.

Given that CSC is selling at $40+ for the TT version, I'll rather save the money and prepare for MP-11...

BTW, how to see from the box which version is the rodimus 1 or 2?

Normally difference is only the material and color difference between Hasbro and TakaraTomy ver.

TakaraTomy ver. normally has brighter color or more metallic color~
Hasbro Arcee is more darker blue while TakaraTomy is more bright blue cant really see any metallic color under normal lights but show's more metallic under Sunlight.
The only more metallic colors are Prime and Bulkhead while the others have a more bright color scheme compared to Hasbro

guys jus wanna check, the following got any market value?

400px-UnitedDarksideOptimusAndMegatron.jpg

Part of a Tokyo Toy Show 2011-exclusive United multipack with Darkside Megatron, Darkside Optimus Prime is a dark-themed redeco of War for Cybertron Optimus Prime, transforming into a Cybertronic "armored truck". His rifle transforms as well, folding and plugging into the roof of the vehicle mode. The rifle can also peg into his forearms, and, in its compact configuration, can attach to his shoulders via peg holes on the backs of his front tires or be stored behind his back in robot mode.

His deco is black with grey parts and metallic teal detailing. He has deep metallic red windshields, silver-painted rims with teal-bordered pin-striping, and has white-bordered purple Decepticon insignias on the front of his shoulders. His light-piping is now red. The colour scheme seems to be based on that of Nemesis Prime's Universe figure.

The mold was also used for United Optimus Prime.

I find the price ok, if you compare the current price with ROTF Buster prime & Buster Prime+Jetfire gift set. The set you saw in CSC is actually a reissue under DOTM.

The original ROTF Prime+Jetfire gift is selling on ebay for about $500~600+. ROTF buster prime alone is around $300+. If you look around CSC can get cheaper compared to ebay.

Ya man i saw the ROTF Prime+Jetfire set selling at CSC in a shop on second floor going at 480SGD but damn it looks good.=:p
