The comparison is based on figures from cna which in turn is from dept of stats.

If u want other years, u ve to go to dept of stats for the figures.

Whether we re using median, average or by the different percentile income gp, we cant deny that household incomne is trending upwards.

Using the median or 50% percentile as an example, we can see how income has increased quite significantly. This may partly explain the continued demand for cars, properties...

Those potential buyers for ecs could be likely in the top 50% percentile. In other words, they are likely to earn at least 8666 monthly from work. Note that the effective income cld be higher if they ve other income sources.

50% of singapore households = ? Singapore households (earn at least 8666 monthly from work)

My point is, increase in median wage does not contribute to demand. Policy does. Take COE for example.

Any case, all the best to buyers.

I think one of the main draw is it is within 1 km within Nan Qiao Primary school. I knew a few parents who are willing to shift house just to let their kids to go into a good primary school!

singapore parents damn kiasu one.

but...... nan chiau is the best in that zone... not the best in SG.
don't say until like damn noble shift house la.
and even if you rank top 20 pri school, based on public consensus, i don't think NC will be inside.

those buy bukit timah, compete in henry park, nanyang, raffles girls,
buy beyond their means... for the tiny chance to enter those tier 1 schools,
to me, those are more noble.

One of my reservist mate bought a unit near Nan Qiao because of that.

Don't think Nan Chiau is within 1km from TC. According to google map, it is 1.1km. For those who wanna buy TC due to proximity to Nan Chiau, pls check again.

Bro, this is only the first step to get your kid to a good school. Once you stay within 1 km, then you must go for PV (parent volunteer) or become Grassroot leader to qualify for phase 2B. If you do not stay within 1 km to the school, even you grassroot or PV, proritywill be given to those who are.

I think once you have kids then you understand la....ha..ha..

Nan Chiau doesn't accept pv unless you are a member of the shhk and received letter of recommendation. Not ez to get in

northwave
250+ eapp
20+ take up
10%

based on that pattern, TC take up rate can be better?

TC definitely more popular in terms of location and for new families.
I foresee it will be 40-50% sold on launch weekend.

Applying the NW take up rate, TC sale should be max of 30%
