There will deinitely be a silver hologram sticker on the front side of the box with a yoobao logo on it either on top left or right, beneath it is a small portion where you can scratch it off revealing four 6-digit number groups which is used for authentication. This was just introduced in December 2011 replacing the old hologram sticker. This is strongly advised by Yoobao themselves, you can replicate the product, you can't replicate the numbers needed for verification.

So i can either go back and exchange for a new one or just refund the money.
I power up, it is not fully factory charged. And it has 3 bars.
To be frank, now i cant even differentiate whether it is authentic and even new. It looked like it has been opened up and used for testing to show customers and sent to me as a new item.

Who in the right mind will open the protector and sell the product as new?
Both bigdeal and the shop are just wasting my time.
So what it is cheap. Crap service. It smelled like it is not a honest business deal.

its funny after buying the deal do we stumble upon threads like this...

maybe just blinded by the cheap deal.

anyway lockss did they say that they can refund u the money after emailing them? ive just emailed them earlier myself

as for my case they did say that the item is original. just have to wait and see what they reply la.

just received an email from them.

Dear customer,

We are so sorry about this issue happened. We agree to refund your payment. 

We are not trying to cheat you and we told you the product is original is what we have been notified by our supplier.
 
We have feedback this issue to the supplier and ask them to double confirm the authenticity for us. In the mean time we have stop selling this product till the  authenticity has been confirmed. 

We will contact big deal to refund to you, please kindly help us send the item back. 

Again, we are really sorry for the inconvenience.

new bought battery may not be fully charged. You need to charge it.

I am going to collect my set. Since I only buy 1 set, I going to compare how long it takes to charge vs the suntec set I bought a while ago. The suntec set I bought at $54.90 has the sticker and I am able to scratch and see the number. It is a 20 digits number but the web site cannot seems to paste and verify the number. I paste it in the web site it direct me to another website with a textbox that does not allow me to paste the number. Using firefox by the way.

I paste the number two times and it says the number has been query two times ..ask me to be careful someone pirate my battery... not very useful the website.

Have received another email from them saying that they're refunding the money directly to my account.

At last I can sleep better knowing that I won't be cheated of my money, though a small amt but imagine how many people out there are buying from there. Maybe it's not their fault for not knowing that their supplier provided them
With non authentic products but still they should be wary of the authenticity of the item in the first place.

anyway it seems they remove the yoobao battery from their online shop. But the bigdeal site is still selling the battery - claiming last day offer.

Think if can refund, I buy the new trent dual port battery. At least there is no fakes when I buy from the direct new trent supplier on amazon.
