Nice!!! I agree Santorini Park go once will do. When I went in Sept, most shops were not opened. Quite poor maintain... But I have lotsa of fun at sheep farm, Camel republic with the animals.

same thing most shop are close nothing much to do. even want bluff people that your in santorini people also wont believe.

Summary of my trip; end September 2015

Day 1 - Thursday

Flight landed approximately 2:45PM at Bangkok Suvarnabhumi Airport
Shared a taxi with 2 other people after failing to get a seat on the 3:30PM Hua Hin Airport Bus
Reached Hua Hin approximately 7pm
Checked in to Stonehead accommodation (not exactly a hotel)
Visited Hua Hin Night Market

Day 2 – Friday
7-11 Breakfast
6 Hours Hired Driver – visited Hua Hin Railway Station, Santorini Park, Camel Republic, Plearn Wan Vintage Market, Hua Hin Beach
Visited Cicada Market+Tamarind Market

Day 3 – Saturday
7-11 Breakfast
Hua Hin Bus Terminal – 830am bus back to Bangkok Suvarnabhumi Airport

Tip - consider pre-booking the airport bus to Hua Hin directly and pray there's not delay on your flight. The taxi route is not comfortable (with comparison) and victory monument mini van route seems to be time consuming..

Enjoy Hua Hin! I would have added 1 more full day and explore more places if I had more time.

It's a super budget accommodation at $40/night. I wouldn't really consider it has a hotel..

The good thing about this place is that it is cheap, new and clean.
Room is simple, beds comfortable but toilet only has shower, no bath tub.
No view from hotel room, no lifts (2 floors).
Only has basic coffee/tea/milo bread and jam available in the dining area.
However, there's a 7-11 like one minute walk away where we bought our breakfast and supper.
Able to walk to cicada market (could be very dark at night) and hua hin bus station.

Good place to stay if you are not fussy at all.

Wanted to book intercon but was booked out for that period when we were there. Any idea if there are recommended bridal photo studio there?

can actually get bridal photo studio or freelancer from bkk to go over hua hin for photo shoot. but just got to pay for their hotel and food.

i done mine 2 weeks ago by fotoinc studio in Chiangmai and BKK. quite satisfied with the result.

While you were in Hua Hin, You should have visited Khao Takhiab on sunset / sunrise. Visit the Cliffside Buddha Temple.

It's very nice sights. With the hired car you could have visited the famous Cave temple

As I have already booked my hotel accommodation in BKK liao, would like to check if a day trip to Hua Hin is enough to cover the essential places? I ask this question as it appears that there are quite a number of places to visit etc.

See whether possible to set off at BKK during early morning and come back around 2100 hrs?
