To each his own. For example I expect to sell my 4670k in the next 2 months

If you drive, the 4670k only worth less than 2 full tank only. No one will choose intel over amd because of selling price.

Might as well say why some people drive big car still go malaysia pump petrol save $20-30

And plus motherboard is a sizeable cost.

My Formula alone cost me around 5XX. Add CPU to that isnt it a sizeable cost incurred when reselling.

To me regardless whether 800 or 300 it is still money and I dont want to be left with an item that depreciates in value too quickly regardless of whether or not i want to sell it

500 bucks mobo will be worth less than $200 in 1 year +. if you scared to lose money, dont buy better. cause by buying and selling, you end up losing even more.

Confirm is lose. Only question is lose more or lose less.

Likewise you buy a Merc or Beemer obviously will hold value better than a Jag because the demand is there. That for one suayed me from an XF.

I dont keep for 2-3yrs also usually 6 months - 1yr max sell.

You may not agree but this is your right. This is why i wont buy into the AMD ecosystem though and im sure some ppl will think like me

It is ok to be different if performance is comparable apple for apple. AMD FX simply let down on many and strayed too far from Intel...

Actually...I also dont consider myself fanboy but since my first diy starts with a k6...im amd all the way.. its not tat I cant afford intel or $$ problem...its like...hrmmm...how to say ah?? So used to the brand...dun feel like changing...my 8350 already hit 4.8 at 1.48v...many will say upgarde to a 9590 frm a 8350 tats already hitting 4.8 is a no brainer but I dun care dafug..I noe tat n it juz feels good to upgrade...while I put my cherry 8350 on sale at 150...less than 24 hrs already hit bnp...

Brand loyalty that is to say, but once you jump to Intel you will feel rewarded more (at the moment)...

while i heard 9590 is da last of the FX line...unless amd dosent come out with any high end cpu anymore...while not interested in their apu...i will have no choice but to go intel...
