Hi experts, I have a 3 year old LG 65C1, in the past 2 weeks the standby light disappears intermittently and then the tv cannot be on, but when the standby light is there, can on and works perfectly. Can check what’s wrong and what can be done? Any contacts? Any estimates about how much this will cost? Thanks
I have exactly the same problem, just started a few days ago. This is the second time it's happened to my tv (purchased in 2021). The last time it happened early last year, it was a powerboard failure.

The OLED is amazing but LGs qc is horrible.

Does anyone know of a LG contact number that I can call in to complain?

I just had this problem 2 days ago.

Now the tv cannot be used at all. Red link blinks and nothing works.

Do you know how much to repair?

Selling for parts is a good idea if you can't find a reasonable repair price.

Also, for TVs with expired warranty,if it has been repaired before, you will be ill-advised to repair it a second time. It will be better to get a new TV in that case.

Repairing the same TV twice is bad news. Repairing the same TV twice for the same problem is a BIG No-No.
My LG 65E6T cannot power up. When I press, the red light blinks and stayed red. TV remains off.

Before this, the tv works great, just that I can see some burn ins.

Are you able to repair this? Is it worth it? Or should I get the new 77" OLED, which is relatively expensive.

Assuming it's a powerboard issue, the repairman said about $250 for a new powerboard if you are out of warranty. Luckily mine is still under warranty and got it replaced last week.

Thanks!

$250 is LG price? Everything in? If so I will give LG a call instead of 3rd party.

Samsung tv bought 1.5 years ago. No image and keep rebooting. Out of warranty coz never reg (?? It appeared on my page when I signed in, but it stated I didn’t upload proof of purchase, don’t understand how I missed this step, it feels quite dumb)

anyway worth repairing? Samsung quote transport $87.20, repair $180 excluding parts.

Assuming u still have the purchase receipt, may want to try calling Samsung to check if they can follow warranty period based on the receipt.

If reg within 90 days of purchase they will give extended 2 years warranty. But apparently I didn’t so even with purchase receipt (from Lazada) they only give 1 year warranty. And my tv spoilt in 1.5 years. 😰

Prism+ 1 to 1 exchange.

My Q-IPS model 1st set got the color bleed as per below

IMG-4595.jpg

Prism+ 1 to 1 exchange.
2nd set got faint black lines, called Prism+, they send technician come my house, they do 1 to 1 exchange again, 3rd set also the same as 2nd set.
they send technician come house to inspect, feedback to technician that 2 set also got this issue, maybe is manufacturing or qc issue, and ask them if can change to QLED model with top up.

Prism+ did investigation on the Q-IPS model and came to a conclusion that it is the qc issue, then they say upgrade to QLED model without additional charge. difference without discount is around 400+,

TV came today, delivery guy took away my Q-IPS model TV and give me the QLED model. The QLED model dont have faint black lines across. Happy with the upgrade replacement. Wasted like 4-5 days of leave from 1st set check till 3rd set check by technician, but worth it though.

TV nowadays cannot last long one, people always say prism+ lousy, other brand also the same. tech is see heng sway one. i tell myself not to on the tv so long. max on 2 hrs only then off. if want to continue to watch netflix use tab s10 ultra to watch. if want play ps5 use backbone until i get ps portal.
