Hi Guys

Let's start a Unigine Valley Benchmark List

No Competition meant but just to give you a rough idea of how your card places :)

To enter do the following:

1) Download Unigine Valley from https://unigine.com/products/valley/
2) Run the Extreme HD Preset in Valley
3) Screenshot your score in the bottom format

(Screenshot) / GPU Model / Core + Memory Clock / CPU @ x.x ghz

/ GTX 760 / x.x mhz Core x.x mhz Mem / 3570K @ 4.4ghz

So fire away and let's have some fun :)

wow sick la your score :s13: What can I say

See if anyone here else is willing to run the benchmark see how much everyone getting can compare cards.

On Air cooler only.

Memory clocked 1400mhz
Core clocked 1150mhz
Fan on Auto
Max temp hovering between 84-87deg. No throttling yet.
Single card.

why the 780 and 290 score so big diff? even b/w the same cpu i tot they about on par wan.

300mhz not that big diff right? Whats the texels/s rate for R290?

cause IIRC, Yureak running on Water, while ours are on air... in addition, 780 in most time beat 290 by a few fps. Combine a 780 on water vs a 290 on air, the difference is quite obvious ba...

cannot compare clock per clock liddat...

its because mine is very heavy oced

normal 780 only run around 2.6-2.9k or so when maxed oc-ed. my previously dc2 can do only 2.8k maxed

to put in perspective this a EVGA GTX 780 TI Superclocked w ACX overclocked

First thing is classified with wc. 300mhz more is not easily achieve with no volt mods.

1st thing i have checked. Every 100mhz boost clock the fps jump between 6-8fps depending on cooling solution.

I just saw on youtube a GTX780 @ 1150MHz do 2.4k on a i5-2500k

So I guess the 290 scoring 2.5k-2.6k is normal.

but... 300MHz translate to 1k pt diff a bit kua zhang right?

WC only give thermal head room to OC right? unless the benchmark also uses the temp diff to calculate the scores.

his processor only 2500k mah. if he's using a 4670k on those clocks he'd be getting 2.8-2.9k

as for GCN vs Kepler you cannot compare Clock like that since its different architecture

You can however compare 780 vs 780 Ti since its just unlocked CUDA cores.

780 needs roughly 150mhz more core clock to match a 780 Ti. So 1150 Ti = 1300 780 etc

600pts is not a huge jump In terms of scores.

Must see the fps gap. Scores all count in big figures. Just see mine vs heng fps.

Just 50mhz extra clocked im getting 58points.

Wc not just gives thermal head room. Now the cooler the card the more boost clock the card will take advantage. aka gpu boost for nvidia and aka powertune for amd.

Lastly the vrms. Since the core got advantage on cooler operation it will perform better.

we usually disable boost because its very inconsistent. we lock it into a high clock like without boost.

Also it was explained to me by an engineer, with WC the lower temps allow less electrical leakage so you can push slightly further. if the temps not low enough then only DICE or LN2 le

yours quite abit more OCed than hengheng's why his score only diff 60 points? :s11:
