are the tees really so bad?
i got one in korea and it's holding up pretty good. It's the phototee though. Maybe their older products were better.
Going down tomorrow to check it out :o

if go there just to collect jeans thats' sent for alteration need to queue?
did they give you an acknowledgment slip for the alteration? If got then maybe can just show that to the staff then can skip the Q.

actually I dont really like their UT coz the collar gets wide/loose (maybe its meant to be like that?) and I like my collars tight. But their basic tees are fine.

when washing your tees, don't hang dry them, because the weight of the water will stretch them out. also, hanging on a hanger will expand the neck circumference.

Yeah bro, the tees arent that good.

Ive did a texture test/fit evaluation test of > 15 UT t-shirts in Uniqlo.
All of them had the same fabric material. As for the cutting, i would say that its quite baggy...totally no effort by them to taper the t-shirt closer to the waist..

I would give it 5/10... < good for wearing to neighbourhood places, but not good for swanky parties/clubbing.

If you wanna get a rough idea of the t-shirts looks, most of the staff are wearing em'. ;)

Hi marchy,

T-shirts from Zara (Check out the latest $49.90 tees, its pretty good imho) /Actually @ Seah Street - most of their clothings provide very decent quality fabric at a reasonable pricepoint (albeit higher than Uniqlo) but it results in giving their wearers a more opulent look.

One touch of the fabric, and you'll be able to tell that its miles away from normal clothing..

:)

Hey Chris, still here ?
By basics, do you mean the stuff that is listed here ?
http://store.uniqlo.com/jp/CSaDisp/McutsewnS
http://store.uniqlo.com/jp/CSaDisp/Minnert

I intend to buy stuff like that from Uniqlo and perhaps the MIJ jeans

Yeah, MIJ jeans at $99.90 are good catch at its pricepoint..for the raws and washed denim..

Not all of those listed on the website are actually brought in..

I was looking for this yesterday, but i couldn't find it...
