Finally got my jeans, of all places uniqlo. Was searching for nudies but despite the good intention and advice of some bros here, I tried and it didn't fit well. Also considered Levi's, but when I ask for model 514, the SA look at me blur as if I didn't know their jeans well enough and ask me again and again if I got the model right. This kind of thing, he think I will make up one meh. Such is the life of retail SAs here, for most shops anyway, not knowledgeable of their products.
Anyway, the uniqlo MIJ dark denim seems to work for me. Maybe I got a cheap life. The other branded expensive jeans not suitable for me. Like my birthday last year, a group of friends got me a pair of jeans got a stupid donkey or horse behind, tell me very ex but I cannot wear still, so gave to my cousin.
If any bros buying MIJ dark jeans, please go to their tampines outlet, Orchard don't have. Also, stock for other items not well represented compared to their online catalogue. Flannels at 39.90 seems quite good but in singapore weather, I prefer to take madras cloth. Any large size bros can go and kop their soft jackets, only 29.90, but only in L and XL. Both outlet don't seem to have the 129.90 MIJ denims yet.
