If my Um ciem cracked and is not under warranty, can I go through stereo for repair?

Did u buy tru Stereo? If u did, but warranty is over, they might still assist for a fee.
If u bought direct, then of coz I guess they wouldn't accept ur RMA then.

All IEMs, CIEM and headphones are suitable for all types of music, it's whether you like how it sounds or not.

I using Heir Audio 3.Ai. One of my favourite right now.

In the end it's down to preference. Some people want a gear that sound warm while other may want something that sound flat but accurate.

The bass rumbles when needed, on songs that are less pronounced on bass you might find it to be distant and weak. =)

another reason why i dun feel like trying merlin, cos seems like merlin is the more bassy one.. but my wallet will hate merlin more. haha.

Yesh, it is, I think chiu will prefer Merlins.

It's just $300 more. I just bought a $350 perfume :s

What time were you there? I was there too just now, from about 4 to 6. Saw guan22 there when i was about to leave. We separately tested the 3dd and felt that the timbre sounded weird. To me it's just off la. Fail. Merlin anytime over 3dd. Anyway since you like ba200, miracle should be a natural upgrade. Merlin and 3dd totally different sig.

Won't see rah, 6 I just pang kang.. Went Tang's ssrr a bit (another $$$ hobby, fragrances) When I reach Ion around 7:30..

Yeap, was there with Dennis28288. Then saw Weng, chatted a bit.
Also tried 3DD, Philips Fidelio S2 & Intruder.

3DD was unfortunately epic fail for me, perhaps I had too high hopes for it.
The timbre is quite off, to me it sounded unnatural and too echoy.
Mids sounded recessed and there is a V shaped frequency.
Merlin definitely sounds more refined and with a wider genre bandwith.

The Philip S2 is a huge surprise.
At $199, I felt it sounds way above its asking price.
Technicalities aside, the S2 sounded very musical, yet the clarity and details are good enough with audiophile recordings.
The metal body looks durable enough.
Definitely worth a look and listen if anyone is looking for a sub $200 IEM.

Finally, tried the Intruder with DX100 and my Miracle.
Personally felt that the Intruder is a slight departure from the usual RSA house signature.
It didn't sounded as dark and intimate as the usual RSA amps.
Imaging was good and overall, it added around 15% improvement to DX100.
But for me, 15% improvement for $900+ is still not sufficient.
Not to mention I'm not a double quarter pounder kinda guy.

All in all, pretty good visit.
And Elene's customer service is very good. Thumbs up!
