ya,so this 2017 intake de ppl will suffer lor.cause most of us at least halfway there le ..sad thing is those who graduated even way before 2017,will also get their cert recognised as the local u when unisim officially goes local

eddie you're here! Haha. But yea, lately it's becoming more and more stringent. Recently heard someone with 3.5 got rejected for the full time ones and few years back someone with 3.2 got rejected for the part time ones.

Oh u mean UniSIM degrees (local degrees) = diploma? Those employers must be kidding right? U mean to say those poly grads are wasting another 3~4 yrs of time studying the local degree offered by UniSIM? Don't be over exaggerating leh bro..

Hi rabbit1 yes I fully agree with u on this BUT u seems like to compare diff catagories/tiers of local uni. Of cos UniSIM (esp the local deg) is currently the least recognized among all the 6 local uni BUT it definitely cannot be categorized as same standard & recognition as other pte distance learning uni programmes or something lower mah..

the rabbit guy said de not totally wrong de but a degree still a degree.should be comparing degrees with degree, not with diplomas.
like should compare local diplomas with private diplomas and not saying private diplomas = o levels

Having said that, once end of this year,officially will be the last ranked last BUT new local uni le lor, for unsim. BUT among private degrees, if really want place unisim there, unisim still top because all the way even when its not a autonomy local u, there is govt subsidy it. so technically its better than all private degrees regardless u saying kaplan,SIM-GE,sim-RMIT as long as you are working locally.

Last time unsim was not really private but its not a local uni also,more like hybrid of both.

I thought only Unisim's Accountancy got some standards........ After all the Big 4 hires from there though it's a **** life.

But they now have the 3rd law school so don't play play. NTU also no law school.
