Bro, choose uniSIM if possible coz it's a local uni after all. When SMU first started everyone thought its gonna be a cmi university. But look, where are they now?

I think they definitely got the growth potential or else our gahmen wouldn't want to set up our third law sch with uniSIM le

Yeah, I think uniSIM is doing good and getting better, as many people is going for it. Unfortunately uniSIM does not have aviation courses other than MRO.

I see... I suppose u have a diploma from a aviation-related course. Why don't u consider a general business course which will also complement with ur aviation diploma?

IMO SIM-UOL with LSE as the lead academic direction is very substantial to give the edge for further studies abroad the minimum. Compared to UNISIM which has no ranking at all in QS, I believe DL learning with SIM-UOL will definitely give an advantage if you attain satisfactory grades.

I hold the same thought as you.

Years back, people said SMU will flop as it was only a bussinessschool and that its new way of teaching gonna churn out mediocre students... end up it is still recognised by both local and private organisations.

If there are more universities in the future, people will also say they are a flop. UniSIM will be recognized in the future but the question is how long will it take only.

I rather you study in a local Uni better. Probably it will be more or less recognized anyway since it is local.

Don't give QS too much credit.

UOL external program does indicate external on the paper.
uk employers are well award external program isn't 100% the same as LSE program. Yes top grads are given scholarship to LSE etc to read masters or have gone there but it's top grads only a handful. An edge to go overseas for higher degree I doubt it. They way u put it is like the name along gives one a easier entry. Uk grad school as long as u are the cream no worries even a lower tier uni also no issue finding way to UCL. USA or Canada it depends on many factors, degree name with external label is not going to help u as much as u like.

There are plenty of LSE grad in uk returning to their home country. It's not like VISA and LSE branding gets u a job there.

Canada, oz - all points dependent to get visa. Get job b4 visa good luck with that. No experience just freshie they can find that by the lot in their home country esp Canada is giving up to 3 yrs of work visa to international students.

The same thing with States just a lot harder. Top that off American only know uni in states, they don't give ranking much hoot if u cannot goes to show your worth. Working in states for so long and been in hiring role for the past few yrs.
ppl laugh at u if u bring out ranking esp QS. Either they not heard of QS or tell u that u believe!

Hi,thanks for your advise,I'm looking to work overseas here,and planning to choose what degree to take up,unisim or some DL international degree? Plus any tips on getting jobs overseas,like USA,uk or Canada? Is it that if I have experience in jobs that r demand in these countries would be able to get a working visa easily? Thanks.

I am deciding whether to take unisim full time accountancy, rmit accounting or uol accounting? I dont want to work in singapore for long i want to be an expat travelling and working in other countries which uni will best suits me>?
