anyone here got invest in SCB CIO income fund SGD?

18.9% junk bonds. no thanks.

also holds 14.5% VHYD which is understandable and 5.1% VWRA (i.e. the accumulating version that doesn't pay dividends).

Hi All, currently have invested in 150k in VWRA throughout past year (because UOB One Interests is horrible now).

My strategy is just to hold it over a long time horizon e.g 15 years or more, if possible.

I don't really monitor prices to see when is a good time to sell, like how some aggressive traders does with volatile shares, etc.

Just realised that ACWD ETFs have an even lower expense ratio than VWRA (0.12% vs 0.19 TER).

Am thinking of keeping my VWRA investments (Rather than withdrawing).

But few months later, once have accumulated more savings then might consider invest in ACWD.

Just curious, on everyone's thoughts on ACWD being a better potential ETF to invest in as compared to VWRA due to them having a lower expense ratio?

I think you can calculate the commission and the charges before you buy and sell before you make a decision.

I am planning to just hold onto my current VWRA ETFs with IBKR.

But am curious about ACWD, thus just seeking some opinions on the above.

i not clever. i rather 1.05% fee with high profit than 0.03% fee making loss.
Fair enough. time in market and the power of compounding are what makes money.

The other extreme are those that start long threads about which is the best world ETF (TL-DR they are roughly the same) because they cannot sleep well knowing that there is another world ETF with 0.02% less expense ratio than VWRA

FSMOne no platform fee for CPFIS unit trusts, and also if you are Diamond Tier. Your stock and ETF holdings also count towards Diamond Tier.

I am sure he will regret buying the uob unit trust after some time. I hope I am wrong.

i am moving backwards from stocks to etf and to ut.
back in 2024, i didnt support ts with his ut, as opposed to the uob div guy. now 2026, ppl discouraged my ut because of fees too.
i plan to review my ut again in mid 2026.

why not go for the UTs that have low expense ratio, like Lion Global All Seasons fund. I am vested in it and also recommend it to my relatives (together with Amundi World).

For Eixed Income bond fund eg

Eastspring Investments UT - Singapore Select Bd Fd AD

https://www.poems.com.sg/fund-finder/eastspring-investments-ut-singapore-select-bd-fd-ad-532015 this
Credit Rate: Average of B and A, Expenses Ratio 0.6%
How is possible this UT is able to get average 4% dividend when the top 10%holdings of fixed bond securities coupon rates is less than 3%
Also able to increase NAV by at least 2% annually past 14years
