Not sure that you really need to go that route to enter Hogwarts area.

We queued along with the rest of folks at general admission. Watched as the season pass holders went in first (running). I was around 6th in the queue when we got in and started running.

Still managed to get in without queueing for the timed pass. In fact, there were USJ staff at the machines directing us straight into the HP area without needing a ticket.

Can buy online the 1 Day pass.
It is a Open Date Ticket.

If buying a couple of tickets only, think will go for it since the lost is bearable.

If you're staying at Sheraton Miyako Hotel Osaka, you can buy the general tickets from the frontdesk. Very convenient since I always stay at that hotel.

Sharing - If this does not work -don't BLAME me.

For my coming Sept Trip to USJ :

I bought from JTB the 1 day studio Pass -SGD95 (open date)-which is Good... so I need not fixed a date to go in.
Unfortunate ly JTB do not sell Express Passes but Chan Brothers do- but it so EXPENSIVE....

So I try to get more information on how to buy the Express Passes.
Which are the standard Recommendation:
a) Buy Online from USJ Japanese Website
b)Buy from Lawson Store in Japan
c)Q at USJ counter

After much sourcing ...there is way to enter USJ before the CROWD.!!!
Buy from Klook.com -
USJ VIP Wristband + HARUKAS 300 Observatory Pass -Cost SGD38 per person
They cannot sell you just the USJ VIP Wristband by itself.
It comes with a Observatory Pass.
And the Observatory Pass is worth SGD20.
Which means the USJ VIP Wristband cost only SGD18 per person.

But please note this USJ VIP Wristband is not an Express Pass.
It only allows you to enter the park earlier -like 10-60minutes ahead of everybody.

Which means if Park Opens at 8.30am.
They will allow VIP Wristband users to enter first -like 10-60 minutes earlier through a SPECIAL Entrance.
Checking of the Actual Special Entrance timing will be released by checking through a website with password.-2 days Advance

If you are not an Early Bird- Miss this Special Entrance Timing...then the VIP Wristband is useless.

Note: You have to make a trip to Harukas to collect the Wristband 2 days advance before your trip to USJ .

I have bought the VIP Wristbands already.
So I will be Super Early to Q at the Special Entrance.
Once Open I will run like mad to collect the Time Enter Tickets for Harry Potter . Then if possible be the first batch to enter Harry Potter Site -without using the Time Enter Tickets...

Just keep my fingers cross I do not OVERSLEEP...

Actually I have visited Harry Potter at Orlando...
Orlando Harry Potter - allows their Hotel Guests to enter the Park earlier free of charge. So I was lucky to enjoy all the rides a few times...Futhermore Guests just needs to Flash their Hotel Card like a Express Pass for all the Rides. Somemore no limit HOR!

Now I telling myself - is it worth to go through all these for Harry Potter in USJ ??-I feel very SILLY...
Spend SGD95+ SGD18 - a total of SGD133 per person just to enter USJ early to beat the crowd...

All my fault- did not plan properly...

Just hope everything GOES Well! Now must Plan Well how to use Osaka train ...

Hi there! I saw your post about the USJ VIP wristband for your recent trip and I am hoping you can help answer some of my questions:

1. You are allowed to enter the park around 15 to 60 mins ahead of everybody?

2. Are there a lot of people holding this VIP wristband as well during the day of your visit?

3. If so, did you managed to go and get the Free-of-Charge timed entry ticket to Harry Potter world since you entered the park earlier than the others?

4. Is it almost guaranteed to be able to enter the HP world if you have this VIP wristband?

Sorry for all the questions as I am just really keen and my kids really would like to go and see the HP world but the express pass is too expensive while this VIP wristband seems a practical solution. Thanks and really looking forward to hear from you soon!

Jtb is selling usj tickets with a confirmed timed entry to hp world. Think cost about 100ish. Note the ticket does not give u priority q to rides, only a confirmed timed slot to go into hp world with doing the sprint.

BTW, I have not been to usj before but will be going end of the year so just sharing what I know.
