Am I considered a road hogger if I stick to lane 1 for maybe 10km when:
1) lane 2 and 3 and 4 are traveling at 60 kph with lorries/trucks/vans even at lane 2, and
2) lane 1 already is packed with a lot cars cruising at 100kph, no longer a clear lane...
Doesn't make sense for me to filter back to lane 2 coz in this case I will be stuck at 60-70kph with all the monster trucks falling rocks onto my car. But cruising at 100kph is like constantly above speed limit, and worse still if you keep too much safety distance then ppl from lane 2 may suddenly filter in and your safety distance suddenly decrease by more than 1/2, and you have to slow down and tio high beam by the car behind you who may only be 1/2 car length behind you(cruising at 100 kph!?!?)...
When the lane 1 is clear, I always make it a point to cruise at lane 2, but when lane 1 is packed and remaining lanes are crawling, I will stay on lane 1 but travel at agar same speed as the cars in front (with safety distance of coz)...
I dun like to drive beside those monster trucks, they always like to eat into your lane when turning, seriously I dun want to be mean, but their vehicle really made of scrap metal and they really dun care about scratches one, their vehicle 命贱, but I still care abt my paint work... And I often kenna tailgate on lane 2 at 70kph by those monster trucks, really scary to see only the air intake grills and nothing else from the rear mirrors... Wah lao like the trucks can pancake me anytime...
