If you are asking me, Amex TCB for sure. 1.7% and 1.5% is not that big difference.
In fact, you will get welcome bonus from Amex, 3% cashback for 6months for the first 5k spend
As I mentioned earlier, Amex CSO is better than most of the CSO from other banks here so if you are looking for longer relationship, Amex surely will be a good choice

Again, application process is very easy and fast why not try to apply one for yourself?

Actually, I care only about money. If you think about it, Amex have this sign up promo and you can cancel and sign up after 1yr and get the promo again, while UOB usually dont have a sign up promo. So, even though Amex is good, I have to cancel them and use the UOB card. I can then reapply after 1yr and get the promo again.

The only cards I keep are those that done give any signup promo ie ICBC and UOB. All other cards, I signup and cancel in round robin every year. My discretionary spending for the whole year, is funded by these card companies :) Not sure when the card companies are going to ban me, lol.

Just want to check, for the cashback, will it reflect on online banking or on the statement?

Will this affect your credit rating?

This is how local banks survived. Haha! People give incentive and good service kana take advantage. Mix a tea spoon of cow dung with fried rice, happily eat
It's not so bad. Most people I know have no energy, time or patience to play the credit card squeezing-juice game.

I don't hear much of credit card churning in Singapore. Is there a community for it?

No, cos Singaporeans who are smart enough to do this will be smart enough to not freely share with a community.
Lol. I don't think it requires one to be a genius to wait one year to be eligible for new sign on bonus

Can i say that UOB Absoulute Cashback card are for 'lazy' people in a sense that they do not have to worry about an amount to spend per month in order to get back a certain cashback? Since i read that this card is offering 1.7% limitless cashback on all kind of spending

Just that the bad thing is, not alot of merchant accept Amex.

UOB very little promotion one la. Why not apply for Amex true cash back? $160 to your paynow. 1.5% cashback. If you spend $20k per year, difference is about $40 (0.2%). What you get is $160 and better service.

A lot of people here are far from lazy. Diligently trying to see how to max rewards. Respect.

It is a good card for expenses excluded by most credit cards.

Nothing wrong with being lazy. Some people just don't want to juggle multiple cards, and 1.7% is the highest cashback rate for no minimum spend, unlimited cashback.

The no exclusions clause doesn't hurt either. The card also helps people who are optimizing their credit card rewards fill a niche, which is transactions that are typically excluded from rewards, such as education, insurance, and my personal favourite - GrabPay top ups
