Like that also can link to digital banks.... U ok boh? Like that you can consider depositing your money in grab axs Simi bank. Can earn very good interest there.
Good idea but they accept a max of only $5k deposit, wait for them to increase the limit 1st.

No leh I don't have such issues with my phone, I also used OnePlus, Xiaomi, Huawei, Samsuck, LG phones b4, have been with M1 for more than 20 years.

If you want to pay then please go nuts, it’s your money
But banks are already charging merchants for their services and it’s more than enough.. annual fees are to stiff people who don’t know any better
Debit card fee you also pay, you serious lol

You are right.
If banks are charging merchants well enough, then that could cover the CC fees on the card user's side isn't it?
But what if the user doesn't spend enough for the banks to earn enough from the merchant fees? For eg, I spend only $500 to $1000 a month on my UOB card, then UOB earns 3% from the merchants. That's only a mere $15 to $30 a month
If the bank don't earn enough fees with a targeted average amount per user, then it's their prerogative to decline a request for CC fees waiver what. That amount they have in mind would certainly be different from what we users have I mind.
I feel $500 per month ($6000 a year) spent is enough to warrant a fee waiver, but bank may have a different amount, maybe $1500 or a certain percentage of my salary declared

Debit cards have requirements too. Like a number of transactions per year for UOB and a certain amount spent for OCBC.

The only card without fees, if I recall, is only ATM cards but that's boomer dial-up era.

Maybe the area u stay is where M1 towers are very strong in. Go see Mobile forum. I am not the only one facing the airplane issue.

I know right, I have multiple foreign currencies sitting in the MightyFX account, monthly Giro payments tied to my UOB One account, etc. CCs are easy to cancel but not the rest of my dealings with UOB. Will keep the main account and MightyFX for now as SGD too strong to change bact at the moment.
Maybe they see u got giro tied. So don't want waive..

My latest statement showed a membership fee of $192.60. Went into UOB TMRW app and applied for fee waiver, was rejected after a week.

I spent $1-$2k on the card every month, not a lot to some ppl but I never left the card there to rot. Just called their CS hotline again to FUG them. If they can't even waive CC membership, I am going to cancel all my CCs with them, transfer all my funds out and close all accounts.

FUG YOU if you UOB IBs are here! Go feedback to your Top Mgmt to wake up their FUGGING idea!

can spent $2k per month but can't pay $100+, really thick skin
