Totally ignored your post because the announcement wasn't attached.New benefits on the UOB Evol credit card - net positive for those not using it for 10% cashback overseas, right?
Surprising, really. Or, what am I missing?
I like that mobile contactless overseas also qualifies.
Yes, my understanding is that it will not stack the 10% back for local spend.is it not only 1% for fx spending?

1% cashback and no FX fee is fantastic. Shame existing users will only enjoy the benefits from August statement onwards.

yes no 3.25% fee. New scheme no need to use physical card instore can be online/mobile contactlessDoes no FX fee mean it is purely using Visa Conversion rate ie no 3.25% ?
Currently, the 10% rebate on overseas spend contains 3.25% .. net is 6.75%
Guess 1% is better than nothing but not better than other cards with higher rebates.
but uob evol need to meet $800 spend, trust cashback card no needSo with this changes, it is now somewhat like the cards from Trust Banks for FX transactions.
Isn’t the $800 minimum spend for the Cashback? Forgot to preface, I was ignoring the Cashback.but uob evol need to meet $800 spend, trust cashback card no need
trust cashback card have 1% cashback without min spend, so betterIsn’t the $800 minimum spend for the Cashback? Forgot to preface, I was ignoring the Cashback.
Okay. Understood. Means the FX is the same as Trust. I’m going for the EVOL.trust cashback card have 1% cashback without min spend, so better
Wait for the transaction to be posted firstinterestingly, EVOL card MYR payments on 26 Jun 25 already excluded FX fees
MYR 77.20 = posted SGD 23.41 ( same as Visa calculator )
MYR payments on 6 Jun 25 still had FX fees
Isn't it effective from 19 June 2025? It is the 1% cashback that needs to wait for existing cardholders.interestingly, EVOL card MYR payments on 26 Jun 25 already excluded FX fees

Why not mari card? Similar to trust bank one, but cashback is higher. No need to target specific category to get the cashback, with no minimum spend, no cashback limit. And even cashback with 1.7% on domestic spendings is higher than trust cashback card with 1% lol. If were to talk about UOB, they are calling out cashback promo, but they have min spend :"/trust cashback card have 1% cashback without min spend, so better
good only during promo period, where the rebate is higher than the 3% fx feesWhy not mari card? Similar to trust bank one, but cashback is higher.
