Where can we use it?

Also, i believe this type of payment has to come from 3rd-party, not bank. Bank will want everyone to use their system.

Do NOT use NFC, paypass or paywave cc unless you have a shielded card holder!

This is only a problem for cards.

For Google wallet (NFC) 3yrs ago, the NFC (paypass) function will only work during the Google wallet app is open, and when the screen is on. When phone is in ur pocket and screen is off, it wouldn't work. More like enhanced security compared to normal cards.

To clarify some myths, Pay with UOB Mighty is even more secured than your physical card. It prompts you for your 6 digit wallet pin to unlock the wallet before a transaction can be made so even if someone scans your device, they wouldn't be able to get anything from it.

UOB Mighty allows you to make payment even when you are not on the app. All you need is to power up your device, tap on the terminal, and automatically it will alert you that you are making an transaction to open up the app. All you need is to unlock the wallet with the 6 digit pin (which you have set when you are initialising the first card)

Let us know if you have feedback on Pay with UOB Mighty and looking forward to you all to be our evangelists.

Thanks
Audwin

You can use it at almost all PayPass or Paywave terminals around Singapore (with the exception of some older DBS and Citi issued terminals). To name a few, we have tested it at major supermarkets like Giant, Cold Storage and NTUC. Petrol kiosks like SPC and Caltex. Dining outlets like Macdonalds, J.Co, Ichiban Boshi, Dome, Jamaica Blue, and much more. Almost similar to where you can use the physical card to do.

Help us build our list and let us know which place that you have tried and it's working. Let us know where it's not as well so that we can find out more.

Also unlike the physical card, where there is a cap of $100 for each transaction, because of the enhanced security (wallet pin), the cap is up to your card limit.

Thanks
Audwin

Saw one of the reviews and I don't quite understand why NFC payment in the app isn't enabled on Sony devices.

Awesome, hopefully this means Apple Pay support is soon to come with UOB debit/credit cards too, not only AmEx as has been announced in the media recently.

Pretty useless apps. No pay option for me as I am running lollipop (v5) android 4.4 is already somehow outdated

What kind of crap have you been smoking lately? Android 4.4 is the min requirement, 5.0 and above automatically mean ok. I am using lollipop too and it work fine for me.

I don't see any pay option on the apps. Only bank, dine and info

pathetic app. can't work on rooted phones. the dev team so defensive, you see the comments in play store. telling people all apps have bugs at the start. really a joke.
