Did you root your phone or do anything funny? UOB block the payment function if they detect the phone is rooted. If never do anything funny definitely can use the payment function even for lollipop which I am using.

Nope. I never do funny thing on my phone. Anyway this phone ua only 3 months old.

That's why I said it is rubbish. I don't think they have tested the apps using this phone.

pathetic app. can't work on rooted phones. the dev team so defensive, you see the comments in play store. telling people all apps have bugs at the start. really a joke.

I am not even rooted my phone. Also can't even do screen capture. So stupid. Sometimes you need to capture the screen for some reason

For those who owns a rooted device and can't get this app to work, I have a work around and have it running flawlessly on my rooted note 4. I can't post it here just in case uob found out and patched that loophole in the next version. Cheers

Based on my understanding, if you would like to use NFC functionality, you need to replace your normal sim card with NFC-enabled sim card. For this UOB mighty payment, do we need to do so?

Hi,

Recently, the app didn't work for some terminals. (E.g. one of incidents is with OCBC terminal) . I.e. no response when tap the phone on terminal.

Terminal at subway is working fine for me.

Went back to mobile website. Can't do post dated bill payment via mobile? I guess they used either lowest cost quote or some poor fresh grad team for in house Dev. Clearly a work in progress rushed out to market and forcing adoption by killing old uob mobile app.

Have been using this app from my previous Nexus 6P with no issues but now with S7 Edge, it't not working! Keep showing me no issues added, but no options to add new card. sigh. Anyone have no issues with S7/S7E?

Is it true Mighty pay on Android does not have a transaction amount limit?

You can use it at almost all PayPass or Paywave terminals around Singapore (with the exception of some older DBS and Citi issued terminals). To name a few, we have tested it at major supermarkets like Giant, Cold Storage and NTUC. Petrol kiosks like SPC and Caltex. Dining outlets like Macdonalds, J.Co, Ichiban Boshi, Dome, Jamaica Blue, and much more. Almost similar to where you can use the physical card to do.

Help us build our list and let us know which place that you have tried and it's working. Let us know where it's not as well so that we can find out more.

Also unlike the physical card, where there is a cap of $100 for each transaction, because of the enhanced security (wallet pin), the cap is up to your card limit.
