example:asx payment

B.U.M.P!
31 days in the month = $151.98
(verified by Sep statement for the 31 days in Aug 2018)
30 days in the month = $147.08
(verified by Oct statement for the 30 days in Sep 2018)
Can you explain how you get the 2.712 per day rate for min. 50k?
Cause from calculation I understand is for the 50k min. The interest rate should be 2.3% (as shown in UOB website) if I managed to complete the 3 GIRO transaction.
So isn’t it 50k x 2.3% = $1150
$1150 / 365 = $3.15
Can someone explain to me if I am wrong
now need 75k to maximize interest
So what is the interest rate for 50k? Given I met all criteria
New bonus interest from 01 August 2018 if you satisfy the required conditions and have ADB of $75k in the account :
($4.903)×(no of days in the month)
28 days in the month = $137.28
29 days in the month = $142.18
30 days in the month = $147.08
31 days in the month = $151.98
New bonus interest from 01 August 2018 if you satisfy the required conditions and have ADB of exactly $50k in the account :
($2.712)×(no of days in the month)
28 days in the month = $ 75.94
29 days in the month = $ 78.65
30 days in the month = $ 81.36
31 days in the month = $ 84.07
Old bonus interest till 31 July 2018 if you meet both criteria and ADB of at least $50k :
($3.263)×(no of days in the month)
28 days in the month = $ 91.36
29 days in the month = $ 94.63
30 days in the month = $ 97.89
31 days in the month = $101.15
All amounts are approximate, could be off by $0.01 or $0.02 due to rounding off error.
New bonus interest from 01 August 2018 if you satisfy the required conditions and have ADB of exactly $50k in the account :
[(1.85+2.00+2.15)×15000)+(2.30×5000)−(0.05×50000)]÷100×(no of days in the month)÷365
or ($2.712)×(no of days in the month)
28 days in the month = $75.94
29 days in the month = $78.65
30 days in the month = $81.36
31 days in the month = $84.07
(Edit : corrected the interest amount)

No. You would think that UOB is smarter than this.
It has to be:
1) GIRO-ed in; and
2) Under Category "Salary".
You can set up your own company and GIRO $2500 in from your company under "Salary" if you like. Note that, in this case, you will need to declare your "new income" to IRAS and pay your (additional) income tax accordingly.

Can learn how to compute from the easy example.
Yes.. $147..
thanks for response. i called up and realised that 500 credit card spending has to be in each calendar month , not till 6th each month. mistaken.. damn.. missed it for myself and my partner.
Call and ask for waiver. First time usually they give.
