Received a call from a UOB banker saying that I can save $500 every month, don’t have to spend $500 using the credit card and still earn the 3.88% interest rate. Got such good deal?
I got a call too. Is it a Chinese speaking lady? I am pretty annoyed with her tone so I dismiss her straight.
Haha yes Chinese speaking. Any sexpert here know what is the deal?

they will ask u to enrol "savings plan" that can be charged to the One card ... it is not spending![]()
Then where the $ go? Insurance?

I received a call from someone identifying herself as calling from UOB. Told me that they wanted to send me a YOLO card and asked for verification by giving my birth date.
Anyone received such call before?
In the first place, I never apply for the card. Secondly, is it appropriate to ask me for verification when I am not the one who call?
Giro is deduct via bank account. It is different from recurring bill payment from cc.
Recurring bill payment from cc count towards the 500 cc spending except for instalments
AXS, government payments, ezlink (road tax hospitals etc) now excluded
So to say, road tax is not consider under the $500 spending for the credit card?
It is telemarketer trying to push a card to you. The worst thing I ever faced is they tried to lie that a card I am holding is phasing out and want me to try the YOLO card.I received a call from someone identifying herself as calling from UOB. Depends on when statement is run. You might receive the card after statement runs which means u missed first month. That’s what happen to me
Just kanna this
UOB one account need 500 per calender month as minimum spend on uob one card.
Although you might get your uob one card rebate (those are per statement date)
For the whole of September, I just happened to spend like 300 bucks so I just discovered this the bad way....
Damn troublesome. Need to keep track of Monthly spend as per statement , now need to even tabulate whether each calendar month spend 500 at least or not on the card....
