Thanks Madtari and Badsector for the quick replies. I forgot that cc bill payments can be giro-ed. Thanks for the insights, I believe I should get these giro set up first before transferring bigger lump sum into my one account right
So including me and sgdividend there are 3 here who didnt receive bonus interest?
I didnt do anything different from previous months, something must have changed in their system
I never received as well.

Common giro transactions r UOB one credit card payment, income tax installment, property tax installment, carpark payment, mobile/Internet payments.
SP billing we talked about is to be counted towards the min spending for both card rebate n one account bonus interest.
hello i tried giro application online.
but the list of billing organisations is very little.
no option for carpark payment and telco payments?
U need to go telco, hdb website etc to download their giro form. Don't depend on UOB. They only list their billing partners, which is very limited. What is not listed doesn't mean u can't setup giro.
the fastest way to set up another giro in double quick time is to apply for another UOB credit card (not supp card), then set up Giro using UOB online banking
other billing org like telcos take many weeks .. provided paper work not lost
in this digital era, surprising Giro takes so long & so manual![]()
totally agree with you. In this digital age, on average it takes 4 to 6 weeks from form submission to approval for GIRO setup. Don't understand why it takes so long.
The fastest is IRAS GIRO for property tax and income tax. Setup and approved in less than 2 weeks.
omg. take so long to approve simple giro.
thanks for the comments, guys.
Yes...my Starhub Giro took 2 months for approval..
Min 5 transactions per month is requirement for uob one quarterly rebate, not requirement for bonus interest.
