I have never personally tried that... but you can go search for the cardup thread... someone has tried and certain banks once they see the merchant charge statement contains insurance, they will exclude it as per their T&Cs. I remember UOB also have such T&C so it will be at your own risk.
Long time no use cardup. Things have advanced until like that? Even certain transactions using cardup are excluded?

Banks only know it is cardup transaction, no way they able to tell what it is for.

Is this ur personal opinion? Have u ever used cardup before? When was the last time u have used it? Can I ask the others to dismiss/ignore what you have just said? :s13:

U r so wrong.... I paid for my daughter's childcare using cardup. What appeared on my UOB credit card transaction was "CARDUP E-BRIDGE PRE-SC".

So imagine someone were to pay for his insurance premium, card up will sadly include the company name in the charge statement... it will be reflected on ur credit card statement... and banks have all the right reasons to exclude those transactions.

Banks have never looked into what the Cardup transactions is for when awarding rebate/points. What even makes you think so? Insurance and Cardup are not excluded from UOB One Card rebate or UOB One account bonus interest anyway.

Deal all,
Not sure if anyone can help to answer me.
How does the 500$/month works? Is it spend 500$ per statement or the whole month. My billing cycle is mid of last month to current month. Thanks

If you're referring to UOB Account (the bank account), then $500 is calendar month.

Bonus interest from 01 August 2018 if you satisfy the required conditions and have ADB of $75k in the account :
($4.903)×(no of days in the month)

28 days in the month = $137.27
29 days in the month = $142.18
30 days in the month = $147.08
31 days in the month = $151.98

B.U.M.P. for info

Month of Feb (with 28 days) is $137.27, not $137.28.
