Hey UOB. Do you have a miles credit card with you guys? Whats the info link ah> Cheers!

There is no UOB rep here. Are you looking for a uob card that allow you to earn miles and at the same time earn bonus interest on uob one? If so can refer to https://www.uob.com.sg/personal/cards/credit/ladys/
Only ladies can have the card though

For uob card that earn miles but not bonus interest on uob one, there are quite a few. You can google for those cards that you can earn UNI$ (uob points that can be converted to miles)

You can read up on these cards from milelion.com

The only gripe I have with the UOB One account is that their credit card application takes forever to approve an application. Mine took almost 2 months to approve when DBS approved my credit card by the next day!

However, after the teething problems in getting the account up and running, it works well.

Have told my Wife to do the same. Her UOB One account was opened very quickly but her credit card application is still pending after weeks when DBS approved her credit card within the next day. Sigh!

Hope that she gets her UOB credit card soon. Need to multiply our eligible deposit that can receive bonus interest from $75k to $150k with my wife’s additional account.

not sure if this has been asked previously, but how does UOB calculate the bonus interest rate for one account?

assuming I have full 75,000, since January, and clocked $500 on Jan's One Card statement as well as 3 GIRO, will I clock the 2.43% EIR in Feb?

any means to check the bonus interest rate via UOB Ibanking interface?

If you clocked min $500 and 3 giro bill payment in Feb (calendar month), you get effective 2.436% for the 75k in Feb. Feb interest credited in Mar. You will not see the interest rate in ibanking, it is a tiered interest, you can tell the rate from the interest received.

First $15k – 1.85%
Next $15k – 2.00 %
Next $15k – 2.15 %
Next $15k – 2.30 %
Next $15k – 3.88 %

thanks guys...although my question is not really on the calculations of the EIR, but the timing of when I will receive the interest and if UOB offers any clarifications e.g. maybe monthly average balance wasn't 75k?

also...1 more question...

assuming I'm trying to clock my Feb card spend of $500, when is the latest date I need to swipe/tap my UOB One Card? 28 Feb? When does UOB cut off the counting of monthly spending?

Base interest credited on last calendar day of each month. Bonus interest credited on either 2nd or 3rd calendar day of the following month.

You need to track your own monthly average balance.

Monthly spend is based on posting date. For example, if you spend at Fairprice on 28Feb and the transaction is only posted on 2 Mar, this will become March card spend. You are the best person to drive that posting date.

You can check your previous 3 months of MAB in UOB IB Account Summary.

Normally it may takes up to 5 days for a purchase transaction to process, best to use card 5 days before the last day of each month. (i.e. 23rd Feb or earlier)
If a merchant fails to submit the transaction within 24 hrs, processing will take longer.

Hi

thanks for the response!

so I guess each month's spending is strictly on the calendar month itself i.e. if this month (March) i have not completed $500, I only have the next 3 days to do so since cut off date is based on merchant's posting of the transaction and not my spending!

EDIT: one thing i find confusing is that...my UOB One Card's Monthly bill for March was for Post Date up to 12 March 2019, spendings of $80. But i still have additional spendings of about $450 for post date 13 March onwards up to yesterday...would this affect what u guys explained earlier? Have I fulfilled my $500 min spending for UOB?

UOB One Account Interest is based on Spending posted in Calendar Month.

UOB One Credit Card Rebate is based on Spending posted in Statement Month.

You can call in to UOB to change your UOB One Credit Card statement date.
