To get the extra interest(not incremental),U must ensure $500 spending for the month of Oct

For a 21october statement, u need to spend the same $500 between 22nd sept to 21 october

as someone pointed, GIRO means GIRO.
UOB ibanking does not allow GIRO payment thru ibanking(only dbs)

Direct payment thru ibanking is not GIRO

To clarify, the GIRO deduction will be effected a few days before due date and reflected on statement exactly on due date.

Pay in person at Toa Payoh HDB hub, 2nd level, SP Cust Svc Counter. No queue. In out within 10 mins parking grace period.

You can also pay at PWC building near Telok Ayer MRT (Raffles Place).

If I open Uob one account and apply for Uob one credit in only October ,
Will it be qualified for 3.33% credit card rebate up to 150 ? ( they stated spending has to be 1500 min each month within the quarter )

the spend criteria has changed. there's no more spending criteria of $1500.

Yes, they are counted simply because they have not been expressly excluded towards the $500 spend.

thinking of signing up but having all my life using posb, my spending and giro, etc is link to my posb.

AFter crediting the salary to uob one account, do the bros here change to use UOB one account as the primary spending a/c or transfer the $ over to posb ( or your primary a/c).

If so, how do you manage the transfer?

You can do future transfers and set which day of the month you want to transfer. so when you know your pay come in on a certain day, it will automatically transfer a fix amount to your posb on the date that you set (up to 12 mths or more )

moi also has posb as primary, spare cash up to 50k in uob1 just to earn higher interest, any excess cash just FAST to/fro posb, got internet banking very easy, dun have apply lor, hahaha, posb still kept as main cos many things link there

thx for the tip. Is fast easy to use? what is the minimum transfer, max i know is $100k?
