yeah didn't like the need to incrementally increase ADB & eventually sitting in account earning low interest (if balance already >70k). anyway too much of hassle for me

actually UOB one also gives another 5% rebate if u spend min $500 in dairyfarm group

Salary 0.9%
Incremental $500 balance 0.3%
Base 0.5%
Total 1.25% without need card spend. Which free up for spending on cards with higher rebate.

0.3% if u increase ADB by $500 over previous month.

the trick is not to push it to $70k from the start and slowly transfer in $500 each month. Once reach $70k reset the cycle.

Knowing how to use Excel spreadsheet to do the math for you helps, for those who want to squeeze every cent out from the principal amount.

you guys happen to know if salary crediting is countered as part of the incremental $500? I was thinking since u crediting salary already should qualify for the incremental balance.

Yes if the salary credited results in the average daily balance being $500 higher than that of previous month.

Guys, any good suggestion for a last minute GIRO deduction? M1 offered rebates and I wasn't charged any amount this month :(

i think there are advice before to do more than 3 Giros per month, in case such scenarios happen...
