If factor in the UOB one card quarterly rebate, max interest + rebate is 4.8%?

http://www.uob.com.sg/personal/cards/credit/one/

2.43% pa of $50k = $1216
Quarterly rebate = 4X$50 or 4x$100 or 4X$300 = $200/$400/$1200

Max possible will be $1216 + $1200 = $2416

2416/50000 = 4.8% pa

i have met the qtrly 500 spending on cc but have not seen any 50 dollar rebate. Is it reflected in one account or uob one card? Which day is it credited?

Depends on your qualifying quarter, which is reflected in your CC bill. If unsure, can call customer svc to check.

As an example, if qualifying quarter is Mar/Apr/May, and for those 3 months you managed min $500 spend per month, in the bill for June, you will see it credit to you CC bill under "UOB ONE CASH REBATE BILL REDEMPTION". This $50 is used to offset your CC bill, does not go your your One acct

The $50 will be used to offset your subsequent uob one card bill

Another FAQ people asked, continuing from the above eg., if June cc bill is $500.01, and with the $50 rebate, the bill becomes $450.01, does it mean that I did not hit the $500 min spend for that month?

Answer is NO, amount spend is still $500.01, which is >$500 min spend. The $50 rebate just make outstanding balance lesser ...

Difficult to compare in such a way.

Most 500 spend have variable returns depending on category spend and personal spending habits. This varies widely and difficult to
Compare with independent accounts/cc spend

This is only 2.83

Those with 1-2k spend are mostly mile cards which have even more difficult to compare depending what is the true value u value your business flight

sorry, lazy to scroll through 53 pages..

but does anyone knows what happens to the amount exceeding of $50k? what's the interest rate for that?

I know that the bonus interest is only for the first $50k.

i think is 0.05%.

but i think u no need bother to go and check. prevailing in most banks are going to be 0.01-0.10 and large amounts are not going to be high either.

in short, above 50k dun keep in this account.

i'd gone to the website before I asked the question - there's no mention about the rate for amounts in excess of 50k.

i think is 0.05%.

thanks. just confirmed from my RM that it's indeed 0.05.
