Note that the bonus interest is for CC spend of min $500 in calendar month.

While for the quarterly CC rebate, CC spend of min $500 is within billing cycle.

I know is confusing, but that is the T&Cs.

Personally, my CC bill cycle is 22nd of previous month to 21st of current month. So to avoid confusion & disputes, I always ensure all my min $500 spend is within the 1st to 19th of any month. Takes a lot of discipline and work, and I do miss out for one or two months before ...

You can ask to move your credit card cycle earlier but the best they can do is 2nd of the month. They cannot set for 1st,so you just have to avoid spending on the 1st

1. One of the above poster says he/she changed uob one card cycle to calendar month. It wasnt possible when i changed a few years ago. Now it is possible?

2. Supplementary card spending counts towards the $500 spend for uob one account right?

Thanks

How does this change of statement period affect the rebate calculation?

Say have a shorter month to clock the spending amount, will you be penalized ?

Think the problem happens when u own multiple cards in UOB. The statement date of all your cards follow the first owned UOB cc. You just have to change the first owned cc and remaining cards should follow.

Yes.

A lot of people are not aware of this. Even the bank staff thought based on credit card statement spending. All the while we used the statement to monitor our spending. Imagine the hassle of manually calculating for 30 days between 2 months.

So people who got this problem can call the bank to ask for your bonus interest back. (They cant simply abdicate responsibility by saying is in the t&cs)

For ATM withdrawal with OCBC, are there any charges? I know for OCBC account withdrawal from UOB ATM there is a small charge after 3rd transaction in the same month. What about for UOB account withdraw from OCBC ATM? Can't find anything on their website...

Bloody Hell. The posting date of my transaction missed by one day and I lose my bonus interest...

Sometimes I feel like just dumping it all on stocks instead.
