"Breaking News"!

OCBC is known for being strict in waiving annual fees! Recently I heard someone request to terminate, they request customer to retain card and reward them with cash too! :ROFLMAO:

So try playing this trick with UOB?

Yes, OCBC offer $50 cashback upon making 5 transaction. The cashback will be credited 2 months afterwards. I'm still cancel it though, not tempting enough for me.
My one card is auto waive for me also. usage is averaging 500-600 per month to hit the one account spending.

The big saving promo is outright confusing. Apparently if you submit the form in April to top up 50k and your March monthly average balance (mab) is 100k, your April mab must be at least 150k and not from may onwards

point#2.9 - Your Participating Deposit will be Earmarked for the period corresponding to your Participating Deposit date or Participation Form Submission Date (whichever is later) till the Earmark End Date as set out in the table below (“Earmark Period”). “Earmarked” means that the amount deposited and cannot be withdrawn. You are required to maintain the applicable minimum Incremental Fresh Fund (i.e. the aggregate of your Account’s Monthly Average Balance for March 2024 and the Participating Deposit amount) for the full Earmark Period.

I'm not sure what happened. Now the cso tells me my new funds will be earmarked in June instead. I give up

read the tnc 2.9 carefully, if u fund on 1 jun, your earmark date will be by 31 july....if you want the may cycle u must fund by 31 may
Yes, thank you! I will
1) register and fund on 31 May (incremental fresh fund is based on Mar MAB) and earmark is from 28 Jun,
2) keep funds until end Sep preferably end Nov since $500 UOB One spending needs to be for 2 quarters from Jun - Aug, Sep - Nov to maximize interest/rebate
3) Rinse and repeat with MAB based on Dec month

Somewhat complicated with so many variables to note so wrote it here for everyone's reference too although everyone's spending quarter may differ

Hi, can anyone confirm the option to use Paynow to transfer as Salary to the UOB one account still valid as Salary crediting? There is no specific day where the transfer of the month need to be done?

Can I also ask the supplementary card spends are only count as other spends even this is to pay for Dining, Shopee...etc?

Why don't you try it and check the tracker?

You mean the calculator? I think Supplementary is only a category but no special cash rebate from there so just would like to confirm. The calculator won't tell whether paynow accepted or not.
